We have two official social events:
Sunday 1 July 2001 : Cocktail Party
After the official opening of the conference and the first keynote lecture by Alan Schoenfeld, we will have a coktail party. Everybody is welcome - delegates free of charge. There will be some wine and a cash bar.
Tuesday 3 July 2001 : Conference
The conference dinner will be an informal lamb and/or impala on the spit braai. Delegates come free of charge, non-delegates at R100.00 pp.
For the other evenings, we plan informal get togethers for those that would like to join us.
Saturday 30 June 2001 : Pap &
For those of you that are in the camp already, you are welcome to join us in the braai lapa for South African "Pap & Sishaba", if you dare to try this. Bring your own drinks or buy drinks at the cash bar.

On Monday night we will have a true South African "braai". Some people in other parts of the world refer to a (poor) imitation of this as a "barbecue". You can bring your own meat and drinks. The camp management will have meat packets for sale at the braailapa and there will be a cash bar.
Wednesday 4 July 2001 : Same as
Bring your "blikbeker" along. This may give you a free taste of South African "mampoer" - potent...
Various social activities such as daily game drives (early mornings and late afternoons), wildlife films, etc are planned.

Their "conference fee" for non-delegates amounts to R550 (about US$70) and includes
This package deal represents a R185 saving. Should non-delegates, however, want to attend only certain of these activities, they are also welcome - but we would like to know beforehand.
Please let us know how many non-delegates in your party would like to "register". We will debit your account or they can pay now or on arrival.
