Transport to and from the Park
The easiest way for participants to get to Berg-en-Dal from Johannesburg is by travelling with the arranged conference minibuses or with their own car or rental car. The conference organisers will arrange transport from Johannesburg International Airport to the Kruger Park and back for people arriving on 30 June 2001 or 1 July 2001, returning to Johannesburg on 6 July 2001.
The trip from Johannesburg to Berg-en-Dal takes approximately 4 hours. The cost of a return trip from Johannesburg to Berg-en-Dal by minibus will be $100. Alternatively, participants can fly from Johannesburg International airport to Nelspruit and then travel by conference minibus to Berg-en-Dal. Participants should make their own air travel arrangements - contact Travel Fair.
Minibuses will leave Johannesburg International Airport as well as Nelspruit Airport at convenient pre-arranged times.
Participants arriving in advance or that wishes to leave the conference early and needing a hotel in Johannesburg or Pretoria, must please contact the company Holidays for Africa.

Monday, 1 July
Tour A Panorama Route: R350.00 per person full day.

Tour B Croc River Enviro Park tour:
R250.00 per person half day.Departure time 09:00 It is the largest reptile park
in Africa with a large variety of local and exotic species. Live demonstration
at 11:00.
Tuesday, 2 July
Kraal Kraft and Village. A wide
variety of crafts from all over Africa is on display and also a cultural village
with a hippo and crocodiles next to the craft section: R180.00 per person half
day. Departure 13:15 - 17:00. Delegates to the conference will also be
able to go on this tour.
Wednesday, 3 July
Swaziland Tour
R350.00 per person: A full day tour through Swaziland, visit the Swazi candle
factory and the glass factory. Depart 08:00
Thursday, 4
July
The Botanical Gardens: R180.00 per person 10:00 -
14:00
Important:
Participants driving to the Kruger National Park, please note that all
the Park gates close at 17:30. However the camps also close at
17:30. So you have to be at the park gate earlier.
By the rules of the Park, visitors are under no circumstances allowed to leave any camp after 17:30.
